    Safety Measures for Helicopter Flights

What are the safety measures for the helicopter flights?

Mr. Tsering Wangdue from Tibet Horizon, answered on October 22nd, 2024

Dear Bueckert, thank you for extending your question to us!

Helicopters used for our tours are flown by highly experienced pilots who are well-versed in the region's terrain and weather conditions. The helicopters are chartered and undergo rigorous and regular maintenance checks to ensure they are in optimal condition for flight. Comprehensive emergency response protocols are in place, including emergency landing procedures and first aid kits on board. Before taking the flight, passengers are briefed on safety procedures, including what to do in case of an emergency and how to fasten their seatbelts correctly. Our pilots and supporting staff will work diligently to ensure you a safe and smooth helicopter journey.
